Side Ponies

With babies, I always do their hair on the top of the head only. Otherwise it will get messed up in the car seat, or napping, or pretty much doing anything.

Here's another top hair only do! For this one you do the first pony off to the side, the second in the middle and the 3rd off to the other side. (all the ponies are connected)

Morning Hair!

I just had to post this! This is what her hair looks like if it's not up!
It just sticks straight up! I've tried and tried to make it lay flat but as soon as her hair dries it goes back to this!

French Pony Insructions

Supplies needed:
Comb, Spray bottle, small elastics
If your girl has more hair than my baby does you can use the small rubber bands or reusable elastics. I like these ones but the only draw back is they are not reusable! If you try to use them again the break! I always carry extras in my purse in case a hairband falls out or breaks.

First part the hair down the middle. With the comb make a straight line for each pony.
As you go along connect each pony into the next.

Keep connecting all the way down.

Here's a front view. (forgive my bad lighting!)

And the top view.

Ok, I know it's not exactily even and some of the pictures are a bit fuzzy but I think she did very well holding still for a 3 month old! Don't you?! And look, her hair in the front is starting to grow in! She was born with a lot of hair but NOTHING in the front!

If yyou want to add a clip I just slide it under the last ponyjust before the last hair band, that way it doesn't pull her hair or fall out too easy.

Piggies in a row!

This is another of our favorite baby hair dos. Pretty much self explanitory. To make a straight part I get her hair really wet (we use a spray bottle) and then with a comb make the part.

Baby's First Halloween

Here I am on my first Halloween! Don't I look so adorable with my fairy wings!
And here's my big brothers. They had so much fun running around screaming and getting way too much candy! It's a good think Halloween only comes once a year!

Hair Nets

Here's the look we were going for. This is Denise, Maddie's older cousin. This is also a great style to use to hide bangs! (I'm not a bang person!)

Hair Nets

I always get people asking me how I get my baby to hold still for geting her hair done. She's little enough that she does good for a few minutes. Anything fancy though, I wait till she's asleep! Today, she was sleeping! And here's the results!

Pony Tails

Here's some baby ponies! Simple enough for the days when we're in a hurry but still adorable!

French Pony Tails

This is one of our favorite styles! I've seen some people call it puffy braids but I've always called it a french ponytail. You'll be seeing a lot of different variations of this one once my girl has more hair.
